Hello, I’m Lauren. I have experienced talents in art, photography and a special connection with animals.
My ultimate dream and goal ever since I was a kid was to open up my very own pet hotel. Unfortunately, that dream has yet to sprout into fruition.
I have had the privilege to love and care for many animals during my life including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rats, rabbits, turtles, hermit crabs, fish, frogs and bearded dragons. Many have crossed over the rainbow bridge. No matter how many years a beloved pet is with me it could never be enough.
Our current menagerie includes a dog, Berkley; four cats, Spartacus, Luna, Rora and Roids; and seven rabbits, Mr. Bun, Penelope, Paulie, Peep, Po, Ping and Pong.
Now our family has grown but by only two feet this time. My fiancé and I welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Rayne who is now a year old. She is by far the best thing to come out of 2020.
I have been blessed to be able to share a large property that sees many species of wildlife. I am grateful that my daughter will be able to grow up with these experiences and adventures.
After 11 years with the same job, I experienced a lay off that led to my first unemployment experience since my very first job. And that has been and still is something very hard to grasp.
But here’s to staying positive and hoping for good things to come!
